Adam Schwarzel, a beloved friend and cherished member of the Kansas City community, passed away unexpectedly on the night of November 6, 2025, at a time when many of us were gathered at Knuckleheads, listening to Hank IV. Adam’s passing comes two years after the heartbreaking loss of his wife, Mandy Jo, and it’s clear to all who knew him that her death left a void in his heart that he struggled to fill.
A kind soul with a deep love for his family and friends, Adam was always there to lend an ear, a laugh, or a helping hand. His love for Mandy Jo was evident in everything he did, and it was clear that the grief of losing her had a profound effect on his spirit. Despite the pain, Adam always spoke fondly of her and the special bond they shared.
Adam had a unique and genuine personality that drew people in. Whether it was his infectious humor or his deep conversations, he made those around him feel heard and appreciated. His friendship was a gift, and his loss is deeply felt by all who knew him.
